We'll take the morning train out of Meiringen,
pass through Interlaken, Spiez,
Thun and Bern to reach Murten,
a preserved medieval town that is still
surrounded by its circuit of walls.
The town has surviving buildings of the
15th-18th centuries.
A flight of stairs in the German church
will take us to a wall-walk from which we
can view the town's roof tops.
After a mid-afternoon snack, we'll head
back to Meiringen with a stop over
in Interlaken.
