Day Five
Today we'll visit Schilthorn,
via Interlaken Ost, Lauterbrunnen
and Murren.
Entirely free of motor vehicles, Murren
is reached by a four-mile funicular
from Lauterbrunnen.
From there we'll ride a gondola cable
car to the top of Schilthorn,
where you can have lunch in the revolving
restaurant.
From Schilthorn, you'll be
able to see the Eiger, Monch
and Jungfrau across the valley.
After descending from Schilthorn,
we'll ride a cable car to Stechelberg,
a postal bus to Lauterbrunnen,
and then a cog rail to Wengen
-- another car-free town.
After a walk-about and a cup of coffee,
we'll head back to Meiringen.
