You may choose to attend
one of the several nearby churches in Meiringen.
After church, our destination will be Engelberg.
When you catch your breath, you'll have a
chance to look the town over before boarding
the mountain cableway to reach Titlis
for a view-of-views at 10,627 feet (about
the same as the top of Oregon's Mt. Hood).
Bring a panoramic camera (a throw-away is
just fine), so you can show the folks back
home.
While in Engelberg, we'll briefly visit
the Engelberg Abbey, which has a connection
with Oregon's Mt. Angel Abbey.
